The President of FIFA, Gianni Infantino has said the forthcoming FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar will be the best ever staged.
Infantino made the remarks while opening the 72nd FIFA Congress in Doha, Qatar today.
The FIFA President congratulated all the teams that have so far qualified for the FIFA World Cup 2022 that will be hosted by Qatar. “The FIFA World Cup 2022 will be the best World Cup ever,” said Infantino infront of all members of FIFA.
He thanked Qatar for the good work that is ongoing to ensure that the FIFA World Cup 2022 is very successful.
Already 27 teams from 32 have booked their places for the FIFA World Cup 2022. The five teams from Africa that qualified on Tuesday for the FIFA World Cup 2022 include; Cameroon, Morocco, Tunisia, Ghana and African champions Senegal.
The other teams that have already booked places for the FIFA World Cup 2022 include; Qatar, Germany, Denmark, France, Belgium, Croatia, Spain, Serbia, England, Switzerland, Netherlands, Brazil, Argentina, Ecuador, Uruguay, Iran, South Korea, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Canada, Poland and Portugal.
