It's a renaissance! Hafia FC are Guinean champions once again. The Greens, who have a glorious past including three African championship titles in the 70s and 80s, have won the Ligue 1 championship for the 2022-2023 season. Their last title came 38 years ago.
Hafia won 3-1 against Flamme Olympique on Sunday, the 26th and final day of the Guinean championship. They have 50 points, one more than Horoya AC, champions for the last eight seasons. Fello Star and Satellite FC have both been relegated to Ligue 2.
