Football - Qatar 2022: Eight African countries denied home matches

Qualifying for the 2022 Qatar World Cup begins on 1 September in the African Zone. For these matches, some nations will have to play their home matches away from home. The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has published a list of stadiums that do not meet the standards. These eight nations will unfortunately have to adapt to new fans if there will be any: Burkina Faso, Central African Republic, Djibouti, Guinea Bissau, Malawi, Mali, Namibia and Niger.

The Qatar 2022 qualifiers will therefore see a small upheaval in the African zone.

Other countries had a chance to remake themselves. Among them, Senegal. The country will indeed be able to host its match against Togo
