Mashami Vincent is no longer the coach of Rwanda. The news came out on Thursday 10 March, through a statement from the Rwanda Football Federation (FERWAFA). The football body did not want to renew his contract which ended on March 2.
The decision is favored by a series of poor results by the Rwandan national football team. Mashami's mission was to qualify Rwanda at least for the play-offs for the 2022 World Cup. Unfortunately, Rwanda finished last in group E (1 pt) behind Mali, Uganda and Kenya.
