Football - WC Qualifiers: Mali edge Rwanda

Mali has successfully entered the 2022 World Cup qualifiers. The Eagles narrowly edged (1-0) Rwanda, Wednesday, September 1 in Agadir (Morocco). It was for the first day of group E. A goal by Adama Traore (19th) was enough for the Eagles to take home all three points.

The Eagles, with this success, are provisionally at the top of the group. The second match of the first day in this group, Kenya vs Uganda, will take place on Thursday 2 September.

Mali's next game is scheduled for Monday 6 September. The Eagles travel to Uganda for match day two.
