MATCHS DU JOUR 4
Antonio Conceiçao has ended the suspense. The Cameroon coach unveiled on Monday 23 August the list of 28 players who will take part in the first two rounds of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers. The Indomitable Lions will face Malawi in Yaounde on September 3, before travelling three days later to Côte d'Ivoire.
Compared to the preselection of 32 players, four elements have been removed from the previous list. They are Ngapandouetnbu Simon (Marseille), Nouhou Tolo (Seattle Sounders), Jerome Onguene (RB Salzburg) and Jean Onana (Lille).
The coach has retained the regulars, except for two newcomers: Lambert Araina who joined FAR of Rabat and Coton Sport goalkeeper Narcisse Junior Nlend.
Antonio Conceiçao has opted for four goalkeepers, eight defenders, seven midfielders and nine strikers.
