MATCHS DU JOUR 10
A page is closing. And a new one is opening within the Union of Central African Handball Federations (Zone IV). Amos Mbayo Kitenge is no longer the president of this organization. The Minister of Sports of DR Congo hands over his position to the Cameroonian Raymond Mbita Mvaebeme. This was done during an election organized by videoconference.
Six countries of the zone took part in the election. And the Cameroonian candidate obtained all the valid votes cast. "Two countries could not vote because of connection problems. These are Chad and the Central African Republic. For the rest, we can talk about 100%," said the happy winner.
President of the Cameroon Handball Federation, Raymond Mbita Mvaebeme places his mandate under the sign of recovery. "We want to have more dynamism in our area. And Cameroon is positioned as the country that can bring new blood to boost activities," he said.
His program is based on three pillars: organization, training and competitions. Note that Zone IV includes eight states: Cameroon, DR Congo, Congo, Chad, Central African Republic, Sao Tome and Principe, Gabon and Equatorial Guinea.
