Genoa will play in the round of 16 of the Italian Cup thanks to Sierra Leonean Yayah Kallon. The 20-year-old has saved his club from going to extra time. The 20-year-old striker scored the winning goal for Genoa in the 88th minute.
His side was 2-0 down to Perugia, a Serie B club. Genoa came back to tie the game before Kallon scored the third goal.
Another African also made an impression in the Italian Cup on Friday. Ebrima Colley of Gambia scored his first goal for Spezia.
