Frenchman Ciryl Gane has scored his ninth win in as many MMA outings. He dominated Russia's Alexander Volkov by decision on Saturday 26 June in Las Vegas, USA, at UFC 30.
This is the sixth UFC win for the man nicknamed "Bon Gamin", a performance that allows him to enter the world's Top 4 and, above all, to claim the Cameroonian heavyweight champion, Francis Ngannou.
"You know it (what I want now)," Gane blurted out on RMC Sport 2 after his win over Volkov. I'm ready man. I'm ready. I like challenges. I have a young career and this has always been a challenge. So give me another challenge."
RMC Sport wonders "if Dana White, the all-powerful boss of the UFC, will hear it that way."
