Nicolas Pépé has lived and breathed soccer since he was a child. "I was always playing football! I was always playing soccer, with my friends, with my brother, even with my father on Sundays," he said in an interview with RMC.
It's no coincidence that he became a professional player known to all. Pépé has indeed fed off his passion for the game to reach the top level. After having shone in Lille, he had packed his bags for a more prestigious destination, Arsenal in the Premier League.
This summer the 30-year-old striker returned to Ligue 1 by joining OGC Nice on loan. If he continues to enjoy his passion, Nicolas Pépé could still have practiced a sport other than soccer. "I watch soccer all the time. Even an hour or two before our gatherings to play, I watch matches. I really like it! (...) I could have done track and field. I was pretty tough when I was a little younger," he said.
