CAF CL: Were Young Africans robbed in Pretoria?

The controversy is already heating up. On social networks, many are pointing the finger at Mauritanian referee Dahane Beida, who officiated the second leg of the semi-final between Young Africa and Mamelodi Sundowns in Pretoria. The Tanzanians lost on penalties (3-2) after a 0-0 draw in regulation time, as in the first leg in Dar-Es-Salam.

However, they could have won the return leg (1-0). In any case, they seem to have scored a valid goal. A heavy shot from Burkina Faso's Aziz Ki hit the bar, bounced back off the line and out. The referee did not award the goal and VAR did not correct it. Fans of the Tanzanian club feel aggrieved and express their feelings on social networks.

Leicester-Ndidi: "Physical fitness always comes match by match, as does confidence "

Wilfried Ndidi still not back to full fitness

Wilfried Ndidi has yet to rediscover his sensations since his recent return to the pitch after the lengthy injury that caused him to miss the African Cup of Nations. So it's only natural that he's not at his peak performance. As he himself stated on the official website of his club: Leicester."I'm getting closer to full fitness, but it comes slowly and gradually. It doesn't just happen in one or two games. As we go along, we'll see what happens in the future. If I'm in the team, I'll always do my best, but fitness always comes game after game, as does confidence."

The Foxes are playing for promotion this season, and are currently3rd in the table with 85 points, but with a game less played, compared to leaders Ipswich, who have 87 pts at the stage of the 40th day of the Championship. A rediscovered Ndidi would be a vital element in their bid for promotion. This season, he took part in 25 games, scoring 2 goals and giving 5 assists.

Corrielo dello sport goes even further. On Friday April 5, the Italian media outlet revealed that the French club is ready to lift the €130 million release clause on the 2023 African Footballer of the Year. A colossal sum that PSG is not afraid of. The reigning French champions want to compete with clubs from Saudi Arabia, who are also in the running.
