Women - Olympic Games 2024 (Q): Zambia goes through as  Morocco stumbles

The two African teams qualifying for the women's soccer tournament at the 2024 Olympic Games are known. Nigeria, after a 0-0 draw with South Africa, will be in Paris this summer, along with Zambia, who defeated Morocco 2-0 on Tuesday April 9.

Nîmes: Moroccan Adil Hermach appointed coach

Tennis: African U16 Championship: Algeria named host nation

 

Algeria will host the 46th edition of the African Boys' and Girls' U16 Championships (ITF/CAT). The competition will take place from April 15-20, 2024, at the Bach Djarrah Tennis Club (Algiers). Twenty nations have been announced for the tournament. They include Algeria (host country), Tunisia, Morocco, Egypt, Cameroon, Madagascar, Nigeria and South Africa. But also Mozambique, Botswana, Ghana, Mauritius, Kenya, Zimbabwe, Togo, Angola, Lesotho, Burundi, Benin and Uganda.
