It was in the pipeline but there was nothing official yet. This time, it's done. Dennis Appiah leaves Nantes for Saint-Étienne according to L'Equipe. The Franco-Ghanaian defender has signed until 2025 with Les Verts, last of the French Ligue 2. The 30-year-old player intends to use his experience to help the team out of this situation.
"I arrive in a team that knows how to play soccer, that's not the problem," said Appiah in a statement sent by the Greens. But it needs more aggressiveness to get out of this grim situation related to the recent relegation of the club. I am here to bring what I know how to do, while bringing my experience so that we all get out of this difficult situation together.
