Following Les Bleus' 1-0 loss to the Carthage Eagles, the French Football Federation (FFF) has filed an appeal with Fifa over Antoine Griezman's disallowed goal late in the match. The FFF believes that the referee had no right to revisit the action of the goal after having whistled the engagement and then the end of the match.
This complaint must be sent to FIFA within 24 hours after the end of the match. If the world soccer body considers that there is a mistake, it can, in fact, reverse the score of the match and award the goal to Antoine Griezmann. This would cancel the victory of Tunisia over the world champions.
