MATCHS DU JOUR 2
In a balanced final of the African Women's Volleyball championship, the Cameroonians ended up being more realistic than the Kenyans on Sunday 19 September in Kigali. They managed the match well winning the first and second sets. However, the Kenyans did not give up and dominated the Cameroonians in the third set (25-15). Cameroon had just lost the first set in this competition.
At two sets to one, the Kenyans were starting to believe in their chances. However, they broke down at the end of the match. Cameroon won 3-1 (25-21, 25-23, 15-25, 25-23). This title won in Kigali by Cameroon adds to those of 2017 and 2019. The third place goes to Morocco, winner over Nigeria by three sets to zero (25-19, 25-17, 26-18).
Cameroon and Kenya will represent Africa at the World Cup to be co-hosted by Poland and the Netherlands in 2022.
