The Equatorial Guinean Football Federation (Feguifut) has, this Wednesday, made official its representative for the qualifiers of the new African Champions League. It will be Malabo King. The Club has recently recruited the "mysterious" Simporé sisters (Salimata and Bilguissa) "to enable Malabo King to ensure a good participation" according to the president Juan Maye Nstama.
To take part in the final phase, Malabo King must first beat the representative of Cameroon Louves Minproff in the preliminaries. The girls of Malabo King will travel to Cameroon for the first leg before the return match in Equatorial Guinea.
Also in the Uniffac zone, Missile FC of Gabon will face Amani FC of DR Congo. The winners of these two qualifying matches will face each other for a place in the final phase of the first African Champions League to be held in Egypt later this year. In addition, the teams of Chad, Sao Tome and Principe, Central African Republic and Congo Brazzaville are exempt from this preliminary round in the Uniffac zone.
