Zambia is one of the teams to watch at the 2022 Women's World Cup. The Cooper Queens are one of the underdogs in this 12th edition after their performance in the last Olympic Games. Zambia's coach Bruce Mwape has released the list of 23 players who will compete at the competition in Morocco.
The team's super star Barbara Banda will be in the squad. The Cooper Queens captain had a great performance at the Tokyo Olympics. She became the first player to score two hat-tricks at the same Olympic tournament. She will be looking to take her country to the final of the AFCON. Zambia will play Cameroon on 3 July, Tunisia on 6 July and Togo on 9 July in Pool B.
