Morocco will host an additional match in the sixth and final round of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers. Initially scheduled to be held at the Lansana Konte Stadium in Conakry, Guinea, the match between Mali and Uganda will finally be played in Morocco.
In the absence of a compromise between the Malian, Guinean and Ugandan parties, it is in the Cherifian kingdom that the Confederation of African Football has validated as hosts of this match. A relocation also justified because of the still uncertain political situation in Guinea. The Malians and Ugandans will therefore meet on November 14 in Agadir for their last match.
