Return leg quarter final games in the Caf Confederation Cup competition were played late Sunday evening with some predictable results and outcomes recorded especially by teams from the Northern part of the continent.
Raja of Casablanca finished their quarter final tie in style after demolishing Orlando Pirates 4-0 on the night.
The visitors carried a 1-0 narrow away victory into the game but their hope was quickly white washed by the Moroccans.
Ben Malongo's 6th minute goal was all it needed to offset Pirates. Zakaria El Wardi added up 22 minutes into the game while Soufian Rahimi scored a breather, 8 minutes later.
At the 36th minute Ben Malongo made sure the game was beyond reach for the visitors as he scored Raja's 4th of the night.
4-0 on the night and 5-1 on aggregate means Raja comfortably sails through to the semi finals.
Enyimba of Nigeria played a 1-1 draw against Pyramids fc of Egypt. The Egyptians took a 4-1 away leg advantage to Nigeria and even went further to open scoring via Ibrahim Abdel 32 minute.
Enyimba equalized with 5 minutes to the break and unfortunately nothing changed till fulltime. 5-2 on aggregate for the Egyptians.
ASC Jaraaf of Senegal gave in their all against Coton Sport of Garoua in the third quarter finals. Jaraaf won 2-1 on the night but Coton Sport sails through owing to the away goal scored in Senegal. 2-2 on aggregate.
JS Kabylie also goes through into the semi finals as they out classed CS Sfaxien 1-0 on the night. The Libyans won the away game 1-0 thus making it 2-0 on aggregate.
The semi finals will see Coton Sport vs JS Kabylie will Pyramids fc plays against Raja of Casablanca.
