Cameroonian side Coton Sport of Garoua has qualified for the Quarter finals of this year's Caf Confederation Cup in Group B. The team lost to visiting JS Kabylie 2-0 on Wednesday afternoon but the result did not turn out in their disfavor owing to RS Berkane's away loss to NAPSA Stars 1-0.
A goalless first half characterized the game in Garoua. The home side were reduced to ten men after winger Sibiri Arnaud accumulated double yellows about an hour into the game. A few minutes later, JS Kabylie took the lead with two goals in five minutes Redha Bensayah 63'' and Walid Bencherifa 68'' secured quarter final spot for the Algerians.
Substitute Tombi Alemni reduced score from the spot at the 89th minute.
In the other group game Napsa Stars of Zambia narrowly edged RS Berkane 1-0 to deny the Moroccans any possibility of making it to the last eight of the competition.

The final group games will be played next week with Coton Sport expected in Morocco to face Berkane while leaders Kabylie will host Naspa.
JS Kabylie of French coach Denis Lavagne is proud to have picked up all six points against Coton sport in Group B as they won 1-0 in the away leg. Denis Lavagne also coached Coton Sport of Garoua previously.
