The Cameroonian international is currently facing a dilemma with the prospect of leaving or playing in the Championship (English D2), according to Frank Zambo Anguissa. But the midfielder could find his salvation in Italian Serie A.
Zambo Anguissa has suitors in Italian Serie A and English Premier League
Frank Zambo Anguissa's days at Fulham may be numbered. Relegated to the Championship at the end of the 2020-2021 season, the Cameroon international could avoid the English Kick and Rush. The Indomitable Lions midfielder has the opportunity to give his career another lift and Italy could be his next destination.
Napoli have reportedly set their sights on the midfielder. Anguissa joined Fulham in the summer of 2018 and made 63 appearances in all competitions for the English club. But with the Cottegers' relegation last season, he would then have to pack up and find something better.
25 million to complete the deal
His future could indeed be in Italian. Napoli are said to be very serious about the deal. Tuttospor even claim that the club are considering signing the player to add him to their ranks.
Fulham are reportedly willing to sell Anguissa after their relegation, but have set a price tag of €25m. This could prove to be an obstacle to the deal being completed.
Napoli do not want to pay such an amount. For the Napolitans, the player costs less. Even if they want Anguissa to replace Tiémoué Bakayoko, who has returned to Chelsea after his loan.
However, there is competition for the player. Lazio also want the former Marseille man. In England, it is Arsenal who are said to be studying his profile.
