Handball Women AFCON: Senegal and Angola record wins

The second day of the Africa Cup of Nations handball tournament was held in Cameroon on Wednesday. In the opening of the three games on the program, Senegal easily disposed of Madagascar (42-16) in group A. Unfortunate finalists of the last edition, the Lionesses of Teranga relied on Hawa Ramatou Ndiaye crowned "Woman of the Match" to make the difference in each period (20-9 and 22-7).

Like Senegal, Angola, the two-time defending champion, also started the tournament on a high note. Presented as the great favorite with 13 titles, Felipe Cruz's group easily beat Cape Verde (39-14).

In group C, Guinea almost created a sensation against Tunisia. However, the Guineans failed at the end. Rakia Rezgui and her teammates took advantage of this to win (30-27). We are happy," said the Tunisian player from Celles-sur-Belles in the French elite. I think we worked hard for this game. We deserve this victory, but we have to work harder to do better in our next games. This Thursday, two matches are scheduled: DR Congo - Kenya and Cameroon - Nigeria.
