On the eve of the last day of the French championship in Lens (Sunday, 9pm), the French midfielder of Cameroonian origin from Monaco, Aurélien Tchouameni, won the UNFP Trophy for the best young player in the French Ligue 1. A just reward for a successful season.
Aurelien Tchouameni (21, 35 games, 2 goals, 4 assists) has been awarded the UNFP trophy for the best young player in Ligue 1 for 2020-2021. The French midfielder of Cameroonian origin succeeds former Monaco player Kylian Mbappé (PSG).
"It is a great pride to win this trophy, I am extremely happy. It's a great individual award," said the player on the ASM website. I don't forget that it was the work of the team that allowed me to express myself at my best."

The midfielder, who has stated his preference between France and Cameroon, is in the French squad for the Euro U23 finals.
The player recently lost the finals of the French Cup to PSG and has been very instrumental in Monaco's season.
