The homeside drew first blood at the 15th minute. Wandenga on a free kick beats the Ivorian goalkeeper Sylvain Gbohou (1-0). We had to wait until the 32nd minute to see Pamphile Mihayo's men react. Kofi Kouame equalizes from twelve yards (1-1).
In the second half, the Crows came out of their reserve and put pressure on their opponents. A cross from Djos Issama, Adam Bossu gives the advantage to the TPM in the 54th minute (1-2). Bossu (84') offers himself a double that sealed a 3-1 win for TP Mazembe.
With this success, the Ravens of Lubumbashi take back the top of the provisional ranking (35 points +22) with a delay game not yet scheduled. AS V. Club also counts 35 points +15 with their own delayed game. Clearly, a two horse race between the eternal Congolese rivals, that's how the second phase the championship is lined up. Both teams will know that a slip at any point in time could sway the title to the opponent.
