5- Sadio Mané (52 goals)

Sadio Mané has been carrying Senegal for over a decade. Thanks to his hat-trick scored against Kenya (8-0) on November 18th in a friendly in Antalya, Turkey, the left wing of Al Nassr is now 52 goals away with the Lions. All in 121 matches with the national team of Senegal. He occupies 5th place in this ranking.

Winner of the 2021 edition, Sadio Mané made his selection debut on May 25, 2012 during the victory (1-0) over Morocco. He delivered an assist on his first appearance with the Lions. He scored his first goal for the national team in his second selection against Liberia on 2 June 2012. They imposed on the score of 3 goals to 1.

4- Samuel Eto'o (56 goals)

56 goals in 118 caps, this is Samuel Eto'o’s record during his time with the Cameroon national team between 1997 and 2014. He is also the best scorer in the history of the Indomptables Lions. 

Samuel Eto'o has a decorated record in the national team. The current president of the Cameroonian Football Federation (FECAFOOT) has twice won the AFCON (2000, 2002), the Olympic Games in 2000. 



3- Mohamed Salah (63 goals)

Mohamed Salah is in a world of his own for Egypt right now. On September 3, 2011, Mohamed Salah made his big debut with the Pharaohs. 14 years later, the Liverpool right-winger has become the spearhead of the attack of the Egyptian selection. The numbers speak for him. He scored 63 goals in 108 games.

Individually, Mohamed Salah responded present with Egypt, by scoring several especially crucial goals. He still has to win the African Cup of Nations with the Egyptian selection. He has already lost two finals in 2017 and 2021.

2- Didier Drogba (65 goals)

Hossam Hassan is the top scorer in the history of the Egyptian team. The current coach of the Pharaons is the current best African striker in the history of national teams. Formidable striker, he scored 68 goals in 176 games. 

Former striker of Al Ahly, Zamalek, Al Masry, PAOK, Hossam Hassan shone both individually and collectively with the Pharaohs. He won the AFCON in 1986, 1998 and 2006, the Arab Cup in 1992, the Pan-Arab Games in 2007.
