Simba Sports Club captain John Raphael Bocco has said they will beat Kaizer Chiefs in the return leg of the CAF Champions League quarter final tie.
The Tanzanian giants will host Kaizer Chiefs on Saturday at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam in what promises to be a thriller.
Although coach Gavin Hunt’s team carry a 4-0 advantage, they will come against a team which is yet to suffer defeat in front of their fans in the 2020/2021 CAF Champions League.
“It is going to be a tough game. But we believe we are going to win,” said Bocco without being direct to give what the score line will be at the end of the final whistle.
Simba’s head coach Didier Gomes Da Rosa also made it clear that in football everything is possible to get a good result and qualify for the semi-final. “ It will not be an easy task, but it is possible that we can do it and eventually qualify for the semi-finals,” added Da Rosa.
The coach admitted that in the first leg his team did not play well in Johannesburg last week especially in the defensive line.
“We must focus on eliminating the mistakes as we go into the return leg. We have to keep fighting and know everything is possible,” added the coach.
Simba will hope that the experienced defensive line of Joash Onyango and Serges Pascal Wawa are in good form, while the attack of Clatous Chama and Luis Miquissone click to find the goals that can propel the Tanzanian giants to the next stage.
