After the break, Lyle Foster gave back the advantage to the South Africans (49th), before a new rebound. In the 73rd minute, Zimbabwe came back on an own goal by Audrey Modiba, raising the threat of elimination for South Africa.
Finally, Oswin Appollis freed his team by converting a penalty in the 82nd minute. A precious victory (3-2) that allows South Africa to finish second in group B with six points, synonymous with qualification for the eighth final, while Zimbabwe leaves the competition.
Egypt manages and finishes top of the group

In a generally closed match, the Pharaons failed to find the loophole and conceded a virgin draw (0-0).
