The multipurpose hall at the Palais des Sports in Treichville had a special atmosphere on Sunday 14 May for the Ivory Coast Junior and Senior Cup, organised by the Ivorian Chinese Martial Arts Federation. Around twenty teams took part in the competition, which featured women's and men's events in Tao Lu (Technique) and Sanda (Combat). At the end of a tournament of a good standard, according to national technical director Master Denis Banhoro, the Mantis ivoirienne and Lotus associations dominated the Tao Lu, in the men's and women's events respectively. Lotus de Cristal d'Attécoubé won the women's combat category. La Grue blanche Aliodan dominated the final against AIWS of Adjamé.
