Sofiane Bendebka scored from a free kick against Al-Khaleej on Thursday 29 October, in Saudi Pro League matchday 12. The Algerian midfielder brought Al-Hazem level in the 39th minute, but could not prevent his side's 4-2 defeat.
Musa Barrow had put the hosts ahead in the 24th minute. After Bendebka's equaliser, Afimico Pululu restored Al-Hazem's lead just before the break (45th). The visitors therefore led 2-1 at half-time.
The match turned in the second half. Kiki Kouyaté levelled as early as the 47th minute, then Joshua King (73rd) and Barrow (75th) sealed the win for Al-Khaleej. Angelo Fulgini provided all three assists of the second half.
Al-Hazem remain on ten points after twelve games. Their next league match is scheduled for 6 November, at home to Al-Nassr.
