The moment of truth has struck in the CAF Cup. This weekend, we will know all the qualifiers for the quarter-finals of the 2025-2026 edition, at the end of the 6th day of the group stage. To have suspense and the show, we notably have group B where everything is still possible. Wydad lead with 12 points (+5), ahead of the Congolese from Maniema Union (9 points, +2), while the Tanzanians from Azam are in 3rd place (9 points, 0). Thus we will have a duel between Wydad and Azam, while Maniema faces the last one and eliminates Nairobi United (4th, 0 points). The three top teams could find themselves on equal footing, which will give headaches to decide between them...

Group D is just as delicate before the final day since we have Kaizer Chiefs 1st (10 points, +2), Zamalek 2nd (8 points, +1), Al Masry 3rd (7 points, 0) and Zesco United 4th (3 points, -3). Or, the South Africans of the Chiefs face the Egyptians of Zamalek. The other Al Masry Egyptians could therefore take the opportunity to join the top 2 during their duel against Zesco’s Zambians.

Other issues
In group A, the first two are already known. These are USM Alger (1st, 12 points, +5) and Olympique Safi (2nd, 12 points, +3), it only remains to determine the order of arrival. That’s good, the Algerians and the Moroccans will face each other this Saturday.

In Pool C, the configuration is the same with CR Belouizdad (1st, 12 points, +5) and AS Otoho (2nd, 9 points, +5). The two formations will face each other for the 1st place.
