Tottenham-Liverpool: a clash of the unbeaten sides

The Spurs host the Reds this Saturday 30 September at 16:30 GMT. Both teams are unbeaten in the league so far this season. Tottenham sit 4th and look well placed to return to European football. Despite the departure of Harry Kane, the London club are showing real ambition, with a very coherent and attractive style of play. Yves Bissouma and co have already beaten Manchester United (2-0) and come off a gutsy draw against Arsenal (2-2). The ideas of new coach Ange Postecoglou seem to be paying off. Liverpool, for their part, are aiming to get back into the Champions League. Second in the league, the Merseyside club have been on an upward curve since the end of last season. The Reds appear to have rediscovered their old sparkle and are continuing their climb. They are on 7 straight wins in all competitions. What's more, they have dominated the Spurs over the last 5 Premier League meetings (3 wins, 2 draws). With Mohamed Salah in great form (3 goals, 4 assists), Liverpool remain a formidable side who can strike at any moment.

Monaco-Marseille: OM in troubled waters

Olympique de Marseille face another tricky away trip, to Monaco, after the hammering by Paris Saint-Germain on Sunday 24 September (4-0). With the crisis at the club and a lack of positive results, the Marseille players will arrive in the Principality this Saturday 30 September looking to get back on track. OM have now gone 4 games without a win. They can still look to their new manager, Gennaro Gattuso, who arrived after Marcelino's departure. The Olympians have also got Ismaïla Sarr back from injury.

Monaco, for their part, will try to bounce back after losing the Côte d'Azur derby against Nice (0-1). While the situation at Marseille is getting plenty of attention, the Monaco coach would rather focus on his own side. "I don't want to comment on what is happening at Olympique de Marseille. My focus is on our own situation. What I can say is that Gennaro Gattuso was a very good footballer, an Italian international who was a world champion in 2006. He was a very aggressive midfielder. It's not easy to prepare for this match, not really knowing how his team will play. But we must concentrate on ourselves and on our philosophy ", said Adi Hütter.

Leipzig-Bayern: a rematch of the German Super Cup

On 12 August, RB Leipzig humiliated Bayern Munich in the German Super Cup (3-0). A little over a month later, the two clubs meet again in the league (Saturday 30 September). Leipzig are on a run of 5 wins in the Bundesliga. They haven't lost since their first match against Bayer Leverkusen (3-2). The Werkself (the factory eleven) are 5th with 12 points, 2 points behind leaders Dortmund. A win over Bayern would be a big leap forward and would confirm their good form against the Bavarians.

Bayern, however, are unbeaten this season. Only Leverkusen have managed to hold them (2-2). The reigning German champions have rediscovered their efficiency and show opponents no mercy. They average 3 goals per game. Sides such as Bochum (7-0), Werder (0-4) and Augsburg (3-1) have suffered heavy defeats. The arrival of Harry Kane has reinvigorated the Bavarian attack and the England international appears to be thriving in Germany. He has 7 goals and 3 assists in the Bundesliga so far this season. RB Leipzig will need to keep a close eye on him.
