At Corpus Christi, Éamon Zayed is both head coach and sporting director. Born in Dublin, the former Libya international took charge of the Texas side for its first professional season in USL League One, in 2026. His appointment was announced in October 2025.

His project goes beyond the first team. In an interview published on 21 April by Burgundy Wave, he said he wanted to develop the academy and give young players in the area a pathway to professional football. He stressed the patience needed to establish his methods and to pick players able to buy into them.

Zayed has also been reunited with Paddy Langlois, whom he coached at Northern Colorado. In a profile of the midfielder published by the club in August, he praised his consistency and the progress in his leadership, both on and off the pitch.

Connecting with the fans was already a theme of his first exchanges with the local press. Speaking to KRIS 6 in October 2025, he said he wanted to make supporters want to come back for the next match.
