The Ivorian fitness association and the Ivorian Fitness and Aerobics Federation invited their members and the general public to a fitness session this Saturday, 27 May. For two hours, the 1500 people who turned up at Riviera 3 moved to the beat of the coaches who took turns on the podium. "We can say without fear of contradiction that this edition, the 52nd of its kind, is a complete success, judging by the turnout. More and more people have realised that playing sport is important for health. We will be back in September, then December, for the last two sessions of the year," said Monney Koko Béatrice, president of the Ivorian Fitness Association. She added: "We hope this number will keep growing, because it helps prevent heart disease and keeps the body healthy." Students from the national police academy, who were surprise guests, added a special touch to the session, which ended in good spirits despite the physical effort. That delighted the president of the Ivorian Aerobics and Fitness Federation, Coulibaly Abdoulaye.
