Génération Foot are Senegalese champions for the 3rd time in their history. On matchday 24 of the Senegalese Ligue 1, a win was all the Grenats needed to take the title. Against the Diambars academy, Génération Foot showed their desire to settle matters from the outset, creating numerous chances against the Saly side. The breakthrough came in the 60th minute after Ibou Sané won a penalty. Captain Jean-Louis Barthelemy Diouf took it against Diambars goalkeeper Idrissa Ndiaye, but the ball came back to Pape Moussa Fall, who scored the only goal of the match.

The win gives Génération Foot an 8-point lead over the runners-up with 2 matchdays remaining, securing their 3rd Ligue 1 title after 2017 and 2019. The Grenats enjoyed an exceptional second half of the season, going 13 matches unbeaten with 10 consecutive wins. Balla Djiba's side lost Lamine Camara and Papa Amadou Diallo during the season. In 2023/2024, Génération Foot will represent Senegal in the Champions League play-offs.
