There is movement in the world of para sport. Jérémie Boga, ambassador of Special Olympics Côte d'Ivoire (Soci), has donated 4 million CFA francs to help organise the Ivorian delegation's trip to Germany next June, where it will take part in the Berlin 2023 Olympic Games.
The cheque from the Atalanta Bergamo (Serie A, Italy) star was handed over in person to SOCI officials, among them Eric Nelson Monnet, executive director, and Appolinaire Kabi Wayou, sporting director. He also gave them a shirt from his current club. In return, the directors presented the Ivory Coast international with a gift to show their gratitude. Soci is a non-profit organisation that supports people with intellectual disabilities.
