Cesca again! The club from the Koumassi district of Abidjan has struck once more. A month after sweeping the board at the Federal Cup, Cesca dominated the Judo Talent Identification Cup at the Palais des Sports in Treichville, winning 27 medals in total, 9 of them gold.

The Institut national de la jeunesse et des sports (Injs) and the Judo Club Académie des Mers (Jcam) also made the podium. Injs finished 2nd with 14 medals, 6 of them gold, while Jcam completed the podium with 14 medals, 5 of them gold.

"We saw some very good bouts. The next generation is coming through. Now we are turning our attention to the Abidjan African Open, scheduled for 16 to 19 June in Abidjan, a competition that will bring together more than 200 athletes from 3 continents," said president Dabonné Seydou on the official channels of the Ivorian Judo Federation. At least 250 judoka from 13 clubs took part in this youth competition, for the benjamins, minimes and cadets age groups.
