Retired for a very long time, Mike Tyson never misses a chance to weigh in on the big fights in the sweet science. The unprecedented bout between Francis Ngannou, the MMA champion, and Tyson Fury, the boxing champion, is no exception. 'Iron' Mike has shared his analysis of the fight scheduled for next October in Saudi Arabia.

"Francis has a hard punch"

While all the experts reckon Fury will demolish Ngannou with no trouble at all, Tyson is tempering expectations. The former world boxing champion believes his British namesake will need to be wary of the Cameroonian. "I don't think at all that Fury will have it easy against Ngannou, contrary to what people generally believe. I think anything is possible. Francis has a hard punch," said Mike Tyson. The American, who was world boxing champion at just 20 years old, also hopes to be able to train the Cameroonian before his fight. "It would be cool to have him. I like that," he said.

"Fury throws long punches."

It is not the first time Mike Tyson has advised Francis Ngannou. Several months ago, before the fight was finalised, he had already given a few pointers to the man who beat Cyril Gane. "Fury throws long punches. When he hits like that, he hits long and then suddenly you get his short shots on the inside, on the inside and around and boom, you have to hit right here to the body. Look how you hit him with the right uppercut."

The Francis Ngannou-Tyson Fury fight is scheduled for October in Saudi Arabia. But the promoters have not yet revealed the rules. Ngannou, the UFC heavyweight champion in MMA, has boxed in the past, but only as an amateur.
