It was a duel of African stars. Jonathan Kuminga's Golden State hosted Pascal Siakam's Indiana. The Pacers won 11-105, thanks in no small part to Siakam. The Cameroonian finished the game with 20 points and 5 rebounds. Kuminga did his best to hold the fort at the other end. The Congolese forward dropped 26 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in 30 minutes. The Warriors and the Pacers are both 8th, in the West and the East respectively.

In the Eastern Conference, New York are 3rd after another win. The Knicks beat Toronto 139-125 in a spectacular game. Nigerian OG Anunoby was decisive again, with 31 points and 7 rebounds in 34 minutes.

Joel Embiid ejected

Philadelphia continue to climb the standings. Bottom of the table for a long time, the Sixers are now 12th in the East after a fine 111-106 win over San Antonio. But the Sixers had to do without Joel Embiid (9 points, 3 rebounds in 14 minutes) from the first half. The centre was ejected in the 2nd quarter. After a foul on Wembanyama, he protested to the referee. The official handed him 2 technical fouls. The 2023 MVP, furious, was held back by members of his staff. It is the 2nd time in his career that the Olympic champion has been ejected.

In Houston, the Rockets are flying. Ime Udoka's men beat the Hornets 114-101. Houston hold 2nd place in the West.
