The best of Ivorian and international sports news every day, along with innovative video content and online games: that is the offering now available to sports fans across Côte d'Ivoire. With Orange Sports CI, the operator is now giving its subscribers access to a brand-new digital service via its new platform. It is a sign of Orange Côte d'Ivoire's stronger commitment to sport, both amateur and professional. It follows a 2022 in which the company signed an official sponsorship deal with the Ivorian Basketball Federation, as well as a partnership with the Ivorian Football Federation. But above all, it comes ahead of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, which will take place in January 2024 in Côte d'Ivoire and of which Orange is one of the title sponsors.

Exclusive local content produced by Sport News Africa

With Orange Sports CI, the group intends to continue supporting Ivorian sport while offering fans of all sports a wide range of regular features on its new platform. From the Ivorian Ligue 1 to news on the Elephants across all disciplines, plenty of space will be given to Ivorian sports and sportspeople. This will be backed by locally produced content in Côte d'Ivoire, made by a local team led by Sport News Africa and entirely dedicated to the platform. The main international stories will not be left out and will be available to as many people as possible through content syndication in partnership with Sport News Africa, the leader in African sports news.

A daily sports news bulletin...

Every day on Orange Sports CI, in addition to all the news available on the platform, sports fans will have a flagship appointment with the sports news bulletin, a video round-up of the day's Ivorian sports news.

...And a weekly Talk show live from the pitches, hosted by Roméo Coulibaly!

The news programming will be complemented by a weekly show for local football fans: Le Talk. Presented by Roméo Coulibaly, a leading pundit on RTI, the show is aimed at everyone who follows the Ivorian Ligue 1. Broadcast live from the Robert Champroux stadium before kick-off of a headline match of the matchday, it will welcome figures from Ivorian football and will be interactive, with the audience able to join in the debates and take part in competitions.

A section devoted to the lives of Ivorian sports stars

Less seasoned followers will also be catered for with Kongossa Mag and Kongossa Stories. Presented by Clelia Fortez and Iana Seri, these short programmes will look back in video at everything going on around athletes' lives. These features will punctuate subscribers' weeks, alongside the many quizzes on Orange Sports CI. It is a chance for sports enthusiasts to test their knowledge and sporting culture, with plenty of prizes up for grabs.

How do I subscribe to Orange Sports CI?

Orange customers will be able to subscribe directly on Orange Sports with weekly or monthly offers giving access to all programmes, as well as the online games that will be run regularly.

A big launch game runs from 24 to 27 March: come and test your sports knowledge!

Each day, a new quiz on Ivorian sport will let you test your knowledge, compete with other sports fans and try to win one of the big prizes on offer!
