Al Ittihad and Nadi Basket Staouéli meet on Wednesday 21 October at the Grande Salle in Tripoli for their opening game in the Road to BAL 2027 qualifiers. The Libyan side and the Algerian club have three games, on three consecutive days, to finish in the top two of Group A.

A different opponent every day

After Staouéli on Wednesday, Al Ittihad will face Cape Verde's Kriol Star on Thursday 22 October, then Stade Malien on Friday 23 October. The Libyan club will therefore play all three games without a day's rest.

For Staouéli, the schedule takes them to Stade Malien on Thursday, followed by Kriol Star on Friday. In this four-team group, each side plays its three rivals once. The Libya-Algeria clash therefore opens the campaign for both clubs; each side's other two games will complete their record.

One more step before the BAL

The top two in the group will advance to the West division's Elite 16, scheduled for Abidjan from 9 to 15 November. Qualifying in Tripoli will keep their campaign alive, but will not yet earn a place in the Basketball Africa League season, the continent's club competition.
