Neriah Meunier Sow will ride for Bike Aid in 2027. The German continental team announced his signing on 20 October. For the rider who represents Senegal, the move opens a new chapter in the international peloton.
After a season with Spain's Surne Bilbao team, Meunier Sow is set to join a squad registered with the International Cycling Union. His races included the Tour de l'Avenir in 2026 with the World Cycling Centre team.
A climber to develop
Bike Aid presents him as a rider who is comfortable on the climbs and also wants to improve in the sprints. Léo Bouvier, the team's sporting director, says he has been following him for more than a year. The stated aim is to learn and to race regularly against stronger opposition. Meunier Sow's race programme for 2027 is not specified in the announcement.
The Senegal connection
This signing follows a decision he has already stood by. In an interview with DirectVelo on 4 July 2025, Meunier Sow said he had chosen to represent Senegal to gain access to national selection and to aim for the major international competitions.
His arrival at Bike Aid does not automatically earn him a place in those selections. It gives him a new team environment. The rider also wants, in time, to help develop cycling in Senegal, an ambition he expresses in the announcement of his signing.
