Sad news for Ivorian athletics! Coach Anthony Koffi died in Abidjan on Sunday 9 April 2023 after a long illness. The former national team coach, who worked with Ta Lou Marie-Josée and Cissé Gué Arthur, has left the track for good.
He had notably guided the two Ivorian sprinters at the most recent World Championships. The Ivorian coach was also part of the glory days of Murielle Ahouré and Meïté Ben Youssef.
