Following his exit from the UFC, Francis Ngannou could move into boxing. And quite a few boxers would like to take on the Cameroonian giant. Dillian White, a former WBC world heavyweight champion, has indeed challenged Ngannou. But the Cameroonian has reportedly already found an opponent in Tyson Furry. Speaking to Canal Plus, the world champion said he is ready to face the British giant. " The next step could be that, but once again, everything has to be finalised. I would remind you that Tyson Fury and I have been trading barbs on social media for more than two years ", he said.
For the occasion, the "Gypsy King" has proposed staging the fight in a cage, with "MMA gloves and boxing rules". To top it all off, the Briton wants to give Mike Tyson the role of referee. "Clearly, we all need this fight. It has been long enough. Today we have the chance to settle things once and for all ", Ngannou also said. Frank Warren, Fury's British co-promoter, is not ruling out a fight between Tyson Fury and the "Predator".

Sporting logic, however, would have dictated that Tyson Fury, the WBC heavyweight champion, face Oleksandr Usyk, who holds the three other heavyweight belts. "If the contract is not signed with Usyk for the fight of the century in boxing, then we will do the Ngannou fight," the 34-year-old boxer promised in recent days. "Whether in Las Vegas or at Wembley, who knows?"
