CAF: Motsepe's role during his visit to Dakar

A visit that takes place at the worst time for the CAF
The timing is not trivial. While traveling to Dakar, Patrice Motsepe arrives in a climate of unprecedented defiance towards the CAF, weakened by the management of the controversial final of the AFCON 2025. The decision of the Jury to award the trophy to Morocco on a green carpet continues to fuel a credibility crisis within African football.

Faced with this, the Senegalese Football Federation initiated an appeal before the Court of Arbitration for Sport, opening a decisive judicial sequence. The Lausanne body will have to decide both on the form, particularly the conditions of the procedure, and on the merits of the dispute.
