The National Committee for the Support of the Elephants (CNSE), led by its president, Julien Adonis Kouadio, presented the president of the Ivorian Football Federation (FIF), Yacine Idriss Diallo, with its mobilisation action plan on Thursday 9 March 2023, ahead of Ivory Coast's next match against the Comoros and the 2023 AFCON. "The CNSE is getting ready for the Elephants' next match, but also for the 2023 AFCON, which will be held in Ivory Coast in January 2024. With that in mind, we have put together an action plan that we have come to hand over to you," said the CNSE president. For the match on 24 March 2023 between Ivory Coast and the Comoros, the third round of group games in the 2023 AFCON qualifiers, scheduled for the Stade de la Paix in Bouaké, the CNSE intends to pull out all the stops on the mobilisation front. According to its president, a supporters' village will be set up in the city from the day before the match, to build momentum for a full stadium on matchday. The CNSE is also planning community initiatives.
Idriss Diallo's thanks
The president of the Ivorian Football Federation, Yacine Idriss Diallo, congratulated the CNSE president and his team on these mobilisation initiatives, while also offering advice to help their activities run smoothly."I can only congratulate you on your mobilisation efforts. And I ask you to keep the supporters well marshalled, because the organisation of the match in Bouaké on 24 March will follow security measures in line with the standards of major competitions such as the AFCON. Also, looking ahead to the 2023 AFCON, I suggest you get in touch with the COCAN, which has a mobilisation unit, so that together we can be even stronger. And I can reassure you that, for the match against the Comoros, our national team is preparing with the utmost seriousness," he said.
