Elephants head coach Jean-Louis Gasset and his players held their second training session on Monday 27 March 2023 at 20:00 local time, at the Stade Omnisport de Malouzini in Moroni, which has a capacity of 15,000.
Keen to pick up a second win against the Comoros, the Elephants were once again focused and determined. Before the session, the coach spoke to the press. "We're playing away from home. We know the teams have their supporters. We have players who are used to playing in packed stadiums. There won't be a problem. I'll tell you now that we're going to win every game. These players who play for big clubs are used to playing to win. We're motivated to put in the best performance we can, even though we respect this Comoros side, who gave us a tough time in the first game. So it will be a difficult match. We also know the ingredients we need to try to win," he insisted.
Comoros v Ivory Coast, a matchday-4 qualifier for the AFCON Côte d'Ivoire 2023, will be played this Tuesday 28 March 2023 at 19:00 GMT.
