Senegal's title defence ends in the quarter-finals of this U20 AFCON. The Young Lions were knocked out by Nigeria and can no longer dream of a second consecutive title. In the semi-finals, Egypt, the tournament hosts, will face Morocco, one of the favourites.

Senegal did not look like conquerors at this Under-20 Africa Cup of Nations. That is largely down to a far too harmless attack, with just 3 goals scored in 4 games, even though the Young Lions had a solid defence that conceded only two goals in 380 minutes.
