Ivory Coast will be represented in Egypt at the 39th African Handball Cup Winners' Cup. The draw for the competition took place on 7 April 2023. Both Ivorian representatives have been drawn in tough groups. In the men's competition, Red Star will meet Zamalek and JSK, among others. In the women's, Habitat HBC will have a real fight on their hands against Al Ahly and Primeiro d'Agosto, to name just two of the heavyweights. Last year, both Ivorian handball clubs finished 7th in their category. They are hoping to do better this year.
