Daring Club Motema Pembe is heading for a historic legation in the second division of the DRC championship. The green and white club of Kinshasa was heavily sanctioned by FIFA following unresolved financial disputes with 4 of its former coaches.

Indeed, the world football authority required the Congolese Federation of Association Football to deduct 24 points from the Immaculates at the rate of 6 points per unresolved dispute. These are the disputes with the coaches Otis Ngoma, Andréa Agostinelli, Mateo Basile and Emanuele Botoni.

Two disputes with FC Les Aigles du Congo at the base
‎This sanction by FIFA was a response to the request for information made by FECOFA on the financial and disciplinary situation of the Daring Club Motema Pembe. This follows two appeals filed by FC Les Aigles du Congo against DCMP, including one at the Ligue 1 championship and another at the Congo Cup. The Samurai had denounced the non-submission of licenses by DCMP for all its players during the matches that opposed them in these two competitions.

The President of FC Les Aigles du Congo, Vidiye Tshimanga, who is also a former president of the DCMP, had also indicated that the green and white club of Kinshasa had fraudulently registered players while it was under sanction from FIFA, prohibiting him from recruiting both nationally and internationally.  It was therefore to have all the data before deciding on these two cases that the FECOFA Standardization Committee made this request for information to FIFA.

An almost inevitable relegation for DCMP

‎LINAFOOT, requesting the decision of FIFA, deducted 24 points from the Daring Club Motema Pembe which only has 2 points left and now occupies the last position in group B of the Ligue 1 illicocash championship. DCMP is therefore 16 points behind the first non-relegable club while there are only 9 days left to play before the end of the classic phase of the championship.

A very difficult situation for the Immaculés whose survival in Ligue 1 becomes hypothetical even though the club must wait for the official declaration from the Federation regarding the administrative situation of all its registered players. If the latter are declared ineligible for the rest of the championship, DCMP will therefore be directly relegated to Ligue 2.

The supporters want to financially support their club
‎Being obliged to pay a little more than one million dollars to these 4 former coaches, DCMP sees its supporters mobilized to help them clear their debts. Supporters are organizing to raise funds to raise a reasonable amount in order to assist the club leaders. Indeed, the Daring Club Motema Pembe must necessarily pay all its debts so that FIFA lifts the sanction on recruitment, even if the club were to be relegated to the second division.
