“I take full responsibility for my actions. I'm not acting on impulse, I've spent days holding myself back and telling myself: 'No Emilie, you're not going to do this.' Except I'm fed up to the back teeth of people talking to me about the same things and telling me even more.” That is how Émilie Fiorelli, the ex-partner of Mbaye Niang, justifies her outpouring on Instagram about the man with whom she has a daughter (Louna) and a son (Pharrel).
The former contestant on Secret Story began by revealing that she was a victim of domestic violence. She says she suffered “blows, bites, burns” at the hands of the AJ Auxerre forward. “I can see just how much I was dirtied, humiliated and disrespected,” she muses. “It disgusts me so much that at some point I lose it, I'm only human.”
The worst part for Émilie Fiorelli is that Mbaye Niang allegedly boasted of having raised a hand to her and is said to have cheated on her. The young woman mentioned “a girl that Monsieur was seeing, like in a relationship with” even though he claimed to consider her as “his life”. She continues: “He was bragging to another woman about drinking and raising his hand to me. (…) I don't care that he cheated on me, he can go pass his STIs on elsewhere.”
Émilie Fiorelli says that some diehard fans of Mbaye Niang resent her for spilling the beans about the Senegal international (15 caps, 4 goals). She insists they don't scare her. What's more, she threatens to say more if they keep trying to intimidate her, mentioning compromising photos and videos of the footballer. “They shouldn't have stirred up the hatred and the pain I keep inside me”, said the former reality TV contestant.
The couple split in July 2020.
